It was on the rugby field at Arizona State University that Jason LaFlesch honed his competitive nature and carried that will to win into the business arena.
Jason LaFlesch’s Costa Rica Power Team has grown in just two short years from an idea into the largest and most successful Real Estate Consultancy in the Central American paradise of Costa Rica. Located in the lush, green, heart of Central America, Costa Rica is a land of warm breezes, cool mountains, exotic wildlife, spectacular rainforests and pristine beaches. Jason grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and moved to the Valley of the Sun to attend Arizona State University. He graduated with a degree in marketing in 1994 and hasn’t looked back. After graduation Jason hit the ground running and achieved selling success with new home builders Ryland Homes and Continental Homes where he consistently ranked as a sales leader. Four years ago he opened LaFlesch Realty in Mesa, Arizona and took advantage of the Valley’s phenomenal growth selling hundreds of homes during that period of time.
Anticipating a downturn, Jason turned his sights to the south and liked what he saw. Along with his partner Tim Kopatich, the V.P. of Operations of the Costa Rica Power Team, Jason began selling vacation/investment homes in the resort towns that dot Costa Rica’s Pacific coast. In two short years, Jason has sold close to 300 resort beach homes and condos earning him the designation as the top selling Real Estate consultancy in the country.
The Costa Rica Power Team currently is marketing properties in Playa del Coco, Miramar, Playa Bejuco, Jaco and soon, Parrita. Along with family and Real Estate, Jason’s passions are golf and classic automobiles. The pride of his nine car collection is a 1965 A.C. Cobra. Jason’s days on the rugby field may be over but, the lessons he learned there are reflected in his enthusiasm and desire to be the best at whatever he does in everyday life.
